live musicWhatever your music taste may be, there's a New Years concert for you. From country to punk to jam bands, check out one of these concerts on NYE.

1." Sarah Borges at Lizard Lounge

South Shore country darling Sarah Borges will ring in the New Year with her bluesy licks in Cambridge’s coziest basement. She’ll welcome several secret special guests on top of her already stellar lineup of local players, including Marco Giovino of Robert Plant’s band and guitarist Mike Castellana. (9 p.m.; Lizard Lounge; $20; 21+)"

2. Andrew WK at The Paradise

The King of Party will ring in 2016 in front of a sold-out Paradise crowd, performing his 2001 debut album I Get Wet in its entirety. WK, whose anthems include “Party Hard,” “It’s Time to Party,” and “Party ‘Til You Puke,” will be joined by local bands Tigerman Woah! and Vundabar. (9 p.m.; The Paradise; $33; 18+)

3. "Dopapod at The Palladium

Jambands aren’t always good, but when they are, they’re pretty darn fun to see. Boston’s own Dopapod is one of the best touring today, and they’ll send Worcester into a happy 2016 with the help of funk heros Turkuaz and Connecticut’s Kung Fu. (7 p.m.; Palladium; $30-50; all ages)"
