Welcome to CHARLESGATE, Jen DeNisco!

CHARLESGATE is excited to welcome Jen DeNisco to the team as our newest agent. Focusing on sales and rentals, Jen is excited to jump in and help people find their dream homes.Jen DeNisco (5)

Jen joins CHARLESGATE following a successful introduction to the world of Real Estate at Berkshire Hathaway Commonwealth.

Her background is in education and she holds an M.Ed. from Lesley University.  Her passion for teaching was centered around her desire to help others achieve their potential.  And after 20 years in the classroom, real estate, as a second career, followed easily for her in advocating and negotiating for her clients so they could reach their goals.

After learning the ropes, but knowing there was more to the real estate landscape, Jen joined CHARLESGATE as a next step in learning more about the business she intends on working in for the next 20+ years.  She continues to be excited to represent her clients all throughout the Greater Boston Area under the CHARLESGATE brand and looks forward to growing her understanding and knowledge here.

Although her husband jokes that “real estate never sleeps," Jen takes time to enjoy dinner with friends and family, and also enjoys listening to music and running. Originally from California, she moved to Boston where she attended Boston College (BA ’92) and met her husband of 25 years. She is the mother of three grown children and owner of an 11-year-old rescue pup named Baxter.

A Quick Chat with Jen!

What are you looking forward to most about working at CHARLESGATE? Learning more about development and engaging in supportive office culture.

How do you spend your free time? Do you have any hobbies? I enjoy listening to all kinds of music in all fashions: Spotify, concerts, local venues. I also consider myself a runner, albeit I'm not fast or run particularly far, it is simply a sport I've done my whole life.

What do you love about living in Boston? What are some of your favorite things to do in the city? I moved here in my 20s from the West Coast and never looked back. I love the seasons, particularly fall and winter. I love driving down 93 heading into the city over the Zakim. That view never gets old - especially because I recall 93 being a monstrosity through downtown. The Rose Kennedy Greenway is a favorite of mine in spring and summer. I love dining in the North End and walking around the Common and Public Gardens.

What is your favorite restaurant in the city? Rino's in East Boston has to have hands down the best homemade Italian food. For an upscale pizza and glass of wine, I prefer Locale on Hanover (plus their apps are amazing).

Describe your personality in three words. Gregarious, inquisitive, and straightforward.

We are thrilled to have Jen as part of the CHARLESGATE team! Looking to buy, rent, or sell? Get in touch with Jen.
